Intelligent agents. Connected resources. Observable decisions.
SparkWeave is BitSparkles’ initiative to develop a cognitive orchestration and AgentOps layer for distributed AI. It is designed to connect AI agents, models, data and computing resources across devices, edge infrastructure and cloud environments—helping teams move from isolated experiments towards coordinated, observable systems.

Put intelligence where it matters
Building an agent is only part of the challenge. Real applications must decide which agent and model to use, where a task should run, which data it can access and when a person should intervene. These decisions become harder when resources are distributed and requirements for latency, cost, data locality and governance compete.
SparkWeave brings these questions into a shared orchestration layer. Its development focuses on making agent workflows aware of both their purpose and the resources available to execute them.
Who it is for
For organisations developing multi-agent applications, technology teams deploying AI across cloud and edge environments, and research teams that need to integrate and evaluate complex AI systems. Potential applications include industrial automation, robotics, cybersecurity and scientific discovery.
Four connected capabilities
- Agent coordination: connect specialised agents, shared context and human review within structured workflows.
- Intelligent orchestration: select agents, models and execution locations according to task requirements, available resources and policy constraints.
- Data and knowledge integration: connect workflows to relevant information while accounting for provenance, access and data locality.
- AgentOps and observability: trace execution, tool use, handovers and recorded decisions, relating them to infrastructure performance and evaluation results.
An architecture built to connect
SparkWeave is being designed as a framework-neutral layer between applications and their AI infrastructure. The architecture combines an agent coordination layer, an intelligent orchestrator, data and knowledge connections, and adapters to execution environments. Lightweight node agents or existing infrastructure adapters can report available capabilities and support local execution.
BitSparkles’ development focus is the orchestration intelligence: modelling resources in terms of AI capabilities, matching tasks to suitable execution environments, adapting workflows as conditions change, and connecting operational telemetry with agent behaviour.
From execution traces to useful evidence
For research and advanced AI applications, SparkWeave’s observability direction extends to explicit system events: evidence used, shared context, intermediate representations, reasoning and planning steps exposed by components, verification outcomes and feedback. These traces are intended to support evaluation, controlled comparisons and investigation of failures.
The aim is to make instrumented system behaviour inspectable. This does not imply access to a model’s hidden neural processes or guarantee that recorded explanations faithfully reveal them.
Developed by BitSparkles
BitSparkles combines expertise in AI architecture, distributed systems, cloud orchestration and research-to-application pathways. Through SparkWeave, we are bringing these disciplines together to address the engineering challenges of distributed agentic AI.
Current maturity: In development. The capabilities described here express our architecture and development direction. Production availability, supported integrations and performance results will be communicated as they are validated.
